This is a frantic farce by Guy Paxton and Edward V. Hoile, set in Cranberry Cottage where two thespians go for peace and quiet.  But there\u2019s a beautiful housekeeper\u2026 then the beautiful girlfriend turns up\u2026 then the wife turns up\u2026 so one of the men dresses up as an old housekeeper\u2026 then as a detective\u2026 then the real housekeeper turns up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have only found a couple of photos so far<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, part of the proceeds were given to the fund for the new community centre (which will open in 1966)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was produced by Gerald Kidney, although it seems to be his last involvement.  Elizabeth Birkby Snr joined, she will stay for 28 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small Pekinese called Rollie was part of the cast (but we don\u2019t know why!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
