Arlett, this was GDS\u2019 entry in the Festival of One-Act Plays at Shirtcliffe, against Shiregreen, Frecheville and Southey.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s the society\u2019s first ever competition, and though they don\u2019t win, they do well.\u00a0\u00a0The play was subsequently performed four more times in local churches.
