In her tiny home Maggie Lomax (Brenda Hester) suddenly finds that her family life is full of complications. A young American (Peter Law) becomes an unexpected guest and devotes much attention to her daughter (Jean Stocks). Her son David (Peter Yates) comes home with a Bachelor of Science degree only to announce that he does not want the sort of &#8216;white-collar&#8217; job Maggie had always planned for him. And to complicate things further David is pursued by a pretty girl from London (Mary Cook)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In this riotous North-Country farce it is Maggie&#8217;s husband, Walter (Brian Hester), who takes most of the kicks.
