In Philip Johnson\u2019s play, the couple from next door keep popping in and so does the man who used to live in the house.  Then the body of a woman is discovered in the cellar.  The sinister neighbours come to call again – it seems they murdered the woman for her money and now Francie is alone with them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced by Betty Bellamy. Audrey Clayton is formally invited to join as Continuity, having done it last May: she stays for 28 years.  It\u2019s the first appearance of 16 year old Alison Wilson, as Francie, which the review says is a \u201cbrilliant\u201d performance.  It\u2019s also the first appearances of Stuart Frost (as George) and Philip Clayton (as Alec).  Philip will stay for 31 years, although it\u2019s the last appearance of Victor Bellamy, after 15 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n
