In this story by Edward Percy and Reginald Denham, Miss Fiske (Rita Benson) lives in a remote house with her companion, Ellen Creed (Elizabeth Birkby).  Ellen, who has devoted her life to her sisters, Louisa and Emily (simple-minded maiden ladies played by Jean Stocks and Brenda Hester), invites them to visit her.  These eccentric persons make themselves at home, but when Miss Fiske reminds Ellen it is time for them to go back, they are unwilling to do so.  Miss Fiske and Ellen quarrel, and then Miss Fiske disappears\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Betty Bellamy produces.  Elizabeth Birkby\u2019s portrayal of Ellen Creed was described as \u201can impeccable performance which would have graced the professional stage\u201d. Hazel Hancock joined, doing Publicity.  She\u2019s still involved! Vivien Gerrard also joins, as Lucy Gilham, and she stays for 19 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary Keeton played Sister Theresa with \u201ca lovely Irish brogue\u201d \u2013 in next year\u2019s Bonaventure, she\u2019ll play a nun with a Scottish accent!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
