Margaret Bradley produces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Hester joins as accompanist, and stays for 21 years.\u00a0\u00a0Liz Birkby also joins, playing Josephine. She had been steeped in G&S during school and college, and had run the Opera 14 group.\u00a0\u00a0Her singing teacher was June Chappell, who was musical director between 1980 and 1983.\u00a0\u00a0Deborah Hester also joins. She and Liz are still on stage 42 years later!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have only one photo so far<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incidentally, Adrian Ollerearnshaw, as well as playing Sir Joseph Porter, had played the comic role of Idle Jack in Grenoside\u2019s Dick Whittington pantomime in January. He only appeared this once, so we presume he didn\u2019t like panto!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
