The mysterious Mr Shaitana (Steve Vere) invites four sleuths for a dinner along with four people whom he believes have got away with murder. He tells his guests that he will make an announcement during the dinner but he dies while the guests are playing bridge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agatha Christie is our second-highest ranking author (JB Priestley is the highest). She adapted the play herself, though without Poirot \u2013 she apparently thought that no actor could play him convincingly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jude Wright re-joined after a few years break.\u00a0\u00a0It seems to be the last appearance of David Wilson, after 12 years.\u00a0\u00a0Produced by Tony Wood. We have a DVD, from David Laine\u2019s original video<\/p>\n\n\n\n
