2021-11 (GBC) Confusions

After a two-year gap caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, this play by Alan Ayckbourn was chosen. One reason was that at any one time, few people are on stage, which allowed for the social distancing which had been so important during the last two years

The play consists of 5 loosely-connected short plays. In typical Ayckbourn fashion, the playlets explore an array of different human traits and foibles, mixing moments of darkness and the less desirable aspects of life, with the more comedic farcical elements (including Caroline Oakley’s character being electrocuted!)

Directed by Jonathan Hester. Andrew Bacon joins, to build the stage set. Rita Hampton stands down as Ticket Secretary, after 30 years. We have a DVD, from Steve A’s original video
