Roland Pertwee’s drama is set in the late 1800’s and concerns a repressed family, whose cold and undemonstrative father (Cyril Wilkinson) controls his family without tenderness or understanding. When his son (Chris Birkby) becomes associated with a married woman who plots to incriminate him in the murder of her husband, Edward realises how wrong his priorities were and fights to protect his son and reunite himself with his estranged family
Produced by Betty Bellamy. This seems to be the last involvement for Audrey Hall and Frank Pickering
