This was originally planned for March 2020, and we were three days away from the dress rehearsal when the Coronavirus lockdown forced us to close down. The performances were rescheduled several times, before finally being performed in 2022
Janet Beddus played Princess Ida. Her last appearance with us was in 2004, playing the same part. Christopher Elliott re-joins after 8 years, to play Cyril. Michael Bond joins, playing Florian. We have a DVD, from Steve A’s original video
Incidentally, Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee was this year, celebrating 70 years. She died later in the year, on 8th September, aged 96
