This is adapted by Mary Pakington and Olive Walter from Emily Bronte’s novel, and produced by Betty Bellamy. We have only found a couple of photos so far
The character of Joseph was played by the much-loved and very talented, but sometimes forgetful Roy Ollerearnshaw. In one scene, finding himself at the wrong side of the stage, Roy decided to crawl round the back of the stage under an open window. Unfortunately at the time, Julie Wood (nee Earnshaw), was calling out of the window dramatically to Heathcliff over the moors. Julie says all she can remember is seeing this figure crawling past in a bobble hat and waving to her by way of an apology!
